Practilities about Baptism
Anyone can be baptized, regardless of age.
Baptisms typically take place during a regular Sunday worship service. We advise you to contact the church office in advance to arrange the baptism and have a conversation with the pastor.
Godparents
Godparents must have been baptized themselves and have reached the age of confirmation. The names and addresses of the godparents need to be provided to the church office in a timely manner as they will be recorded in the church register. After the baptism, a baptismal certificate will be issued as an official document for the baptized individual.
Membership
To be baptized or have your child baptized, you should either reside or have resided in the community or have a special connection to the church, such as through a previous religious ceremony (baptism/confirmation). If you have any doubts or questions, please contact the church office.
Baptism Form
We need a few details and information from you for your baptism or the baptism of your child.
